Maitrayee is a bricoleur and has over 20 years of experience across domains. Her earlier career spans the software industry and education. Maitrayee has taught at the Central University of Gujarat, Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technologies, and the Indian Institute of Management Kashipur. Her teaching areas include Information Systems, Data Science and Business Analytics, Public Policy, and General Management. Maitrayee is an alumnus of the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA). Doctoral dissertation titled, ‘ICTs and Development: A Study of Telecentres in Rural India’, was published by Palgrave (UK) in 2013. Presently, her research interests include organizational and societal level changes brought about by data and technology. Her personal interests include gardening and creating Zentangles.
