We learn most from the people who are least like us
These words could not be truer anywhere than at ISDM.
ISDM's PGP DM program brings together students from different interests, backgrounds and geographies and we value the contextual inputs that the uniqueness of each student brings to the institution.
Our learning pedagogies and activities within the classroom and outside it are fundamentally geared towards creating an enriching experience for our students through enabling 'physical' and intellectual spaces for co-creation, exchange of ideas and learning together.
The spaces at ISDM, physical and intellectual, have been designed to be accessed by students and staff members for learning, as well as informal discussions, self reflection and meditation.
Our staff members and alumni believe that ISDM as a space stands out beyond its building and infrastructure alone. All our rooms are named by the Founders, faculties and students and each name represents the values and beliefs ISDM stands for.
The infrastructure available at the institution provides all students scope and rooms of different sizes, apart from classrooms, to work in their groups, and even alone.
The Career and Guidance Office at ISDM guides students in making their career choices across different sectors. The entire placement process is designed and executed by the Career and Guidance Office along with members of the Students Placement Committee. ISDM has a robust placement process in place and ensures reaching out to and inviting multiple organisations from across the spectrum to participate in the placement rounds every year.
The PGP DM program is a unique program that involves continuous support from bricoleurs and mentors enriching the learning journey at ISDM.
'Bricoleur' comes from the French word 'Bricolage' which means to create something from a diverse range of things. For our students of PGP DM, Bricoleurs help interpret, integrate and co-learn the intertextuality of the theories and their applications to development.
ISDM students are mentored by a select group of experienced professionals holding senior leadership positions across industries and domains. These interactions are centered on making sound professional choices, providing sustained guidance, and enhancing the students’ experience throughout the course at ISDM and beyond.

ISDM is committed to providing a nurturing and compassionate space for learning and the well-being of students by creating an environment where everyone can flourish with their individual, cultural and social diversities. We have an empathetic and effective counselling support mechanism emphasising self-awareness, self-reflection, self-acceptance and self-management.
We aim to enable individuals to build their capability to respond to adverse circumstances and bounce back through sustained practice and efforts to achieve a state of well-being.
The counselling program is a confidential process and ISDM offers the support of an in-house counsellor through in-person interactions or a telephonic engagement.
