Sandhya S. Lyer is a Visiting Faculty, Development Economist has teaching and has research experience of over 16years which focuses on poverty, inequality, human development, informal sector workers and social security/protection related issues in the developing countries. She is the Chairperson at Centre for Public Policy, Habitat and Human Development, School of Development Studies and Tata Institute for Social Sciences
She is also In-charge of Social Impact Assessment Cell at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences which studies for governments, public sector enterprises, Corporate Social Responsibilities for companies and is also heads the Sustainable Development Goals research studies at the institute focusing on localizing at India, Global South and the G20 countries.

Prof. L.S. Murty

He is an alumni of IIM Ahmedabad.

Murty (or LS as some people call) is Mechanical Engineer turned Operations Management professional with primary interest in Operations Management, Operations Planning, Operations Strategy and co-curricular interest in teaching methodologies, and problem solving approaches.
Besides teaching various courses at masters and doctoral level management programs, Murty also has designed and conducted executive education programs for a wide variety of organizations and faculty development programs.

Mihir Mathur

Mihir Mathur

He is a Post-Graduation in Finance from Sadhana Center for Management and Leadership Development, Pune.

Mihir uses systems thinking and modeling to create conversations on sustainability agendas and facilitate group decision making processes. He founded DESTA Research LLP in April 2018 and currently is a visiting faculty for System Dynamics Modeling at TISS, Hyderabad. He works with philanthropies, think tanks and non profit entities to mainstream systems thinking into their planning and implementation.

Kannan has an MBA from IIM Calcutta and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Tiruchirapalli.

Kannan is a business coach / mentor in the social and commercial sector and has an extensive experience working in both the corporate and social sector. He is passionate about livelihoods and sustainability with a focus on Agriculture, Healthcare and MSMEs.

Ashraf Patel

Ashraf Patel

She is a graduate in Physics from Delhi University and a post-graduate in PM&IR from XLRI, Jamshedpur, Ashraf began her professional life in the field of Human Resource Development in the corporate sector.

Ashraf is  one of the co-founders of Pravah, and ComMutiny the Youth Collective, both organizations working deeply in the field of promoting ‘inside – out’ youth leadership using the 5th Space framework. With Pravah and over 100 members in the collective she has been part of  shaping the youth work field in the country developing world class designs and high impact interventions with young people and youth focused organizations including promoting young women social entrepreneurs. She is currently part of bringing together a cross sectoral formulation called the vartaLeap Coalition in India which is working towards the mission'Every youth a Jagrik, Every space nurturing Jagriks’.
Ashraf is an Ashoka Fellow and received the Jubilant Schwab Social Entrepreneurship Award of the Year (SEOY, 2020). She was also awarded distinguished Alumni XLRI, 2015.

Aruna Pandey

Aruna Pandey

PhD (SOAS, University of London), MSW (TISS - Mumbai).

Aruna comes with more than 2 decades of deep engagement in domains of Natural Resource Governance, Institution Building, Organisation Studies and Sustainable Livelihoods. She started her career with IIM-Ahmedabad and the HoneyBee network, leading an international applied research project to foster innovation and knowledge exchange amongst communities and modern science institutions. She moved on to lead and manage multiple initiatives with national and international agencies. She has received the Young Analyst Award from EU and DPG, the prestigious M. K. Tata Prize, the NTPC gold medal for her research at TISS (Mumbai) and the Felix Scholarship Trust award for her PhD at SOAS.
Aruna currently works as a consultant, developing research and intervention strategies that embed systems thinking and equity in non-profit initiatives. She also teaches post-graduate courses on Environment and Development, Systems Design and Research Methods. Until recently, Aruna served as the Director for Research at the Indian School of Development Management.
