"Paddy" Padmanabhan is a distinguished academic in marketing, currently serving as the Unilever Chaired Professor at INSEAD’s Asia campus and Academic Director of the INSEAD Emerging Markets Institute. His influential research spans applied microeconomics, game theory, pricing strategies, and supply chain management. Paddy previously held notable positions at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and Washington University's Olin School of Business. His seminal research on the "bullwhip effect" in supply chains ranks among the most influential papers published by Management Science. Besides his longstanding commitment as a founder donor at ISDM, Paddy actively contributes to executive education, directing programs focused on sales force effectiveness and senior leadership.
