Mekin Maheshwari

Mekin Maheshwari is a visionary entrepreneur and angel investor dedicated to fostering entrepreneurial mindsets and scalable impact. As the founder and CEO of Udhyam Learning Foundation, he has empowered over 1.6 million government school and Industrial Training Institute (ITI) students across eight Indian states, cultivating entrepreneurial skills and mindsets. Additionally, through the foundation's initiatives, 5,000 women entrepreneurs have collectively achieved an annual income uplift of ₹20 crore. Mekin co-founded the Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (G.A.M.E) and contributes to social change initiatives at ACT Grants. He also serves as an independent board member at TeamLease Services Ltd., reflecting his commitment to enhancing employment opportunities in India. An engineer by education, Mekin began his career at Yahoo! and later joined Ugenie, where he honed his technical and leadership skills. In 2009, he joined Flipkart, India's leading e-commerce platform, where he played pivotal roles, including President of Engineering and Chief People Officer, during a period of rapid growth. Beyond his professional endeavors, Mekin is an active angel investor, focusing on human capital and educational technology sectors, with investments in companies like Urban Company and Quizizz. His passion lies in enabling individuals to realize their potential, and he is an avid sports and music enthusiast, as well as a food connoisseur.
