Nishant Chadha

Nishant, who has a Ph.D in Economics from the University of British Columbia, is a development economist with a strong interest in the fields of political economy, governance and the economics of education.

He currently researches the impact of urbanisation on education, the market for private schools and the role of economic changes in shaping politics. His past work includes a UNU–WIDER sponsored project on between-group inequalities in India. 

He is a Fellow and Head - Projects at the India Development Foundation.
