Executive Director, Asha Impact
Kartik is Executive Director of Asha Impact, He has led investments into start-ups across housing, financial services, waste management, education, healthcare, agriculture and technology for development. In 2018 Asha was voted the Top Impact Fund in India by Venture Intelligence.
Kartik is a board member of the Impact Investors Council and India steering committee member of the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs. He was selected as a member of the Prime Minister's ‘Champions of Change’ group of young CEOs in 2017 and Parliamentarians and Innovators for India PII Coalition against Covid-91 in 2020.
Prior to Asha, which he helped set up in 2014, Kartik has a decade of experience in venture capital, social entrepreneurship, investment banking and international development in South Asia and the US. He helped set up two pioneering impact investment funds, Lok Capital II in 2009, and Aavishkaar Frontier Fund in 2013.
Prior to his work in impact investment, Kartik worked as a management consultant in the US & India.
Kartik is also the founded of two social enterprises- What's up Bharat & QNA
Kartik has a bachelor’s in finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a master’s in International Affairs from SIPA, Columbia University. He is based out of New Delhi.
